Planning for Progress

Pinellas County Schools hosted a series of community meetings across the district to share school-specific data and gather feedback on population and enrollment trends, facility planning and school utilization.

Program Advisory Committees

CTE Logo
Each program at Tech High is supported by a Program Advisory Committee made up of individuals from across our community, including parents, teachers, students, administrators, business and industry professionals, and other interested partners.
The purpose of each committee varies by program, but generally includes reviewing current industry standards, program curriculum, and student projects, as well as supporting community involvement and real‑world connections. Advisory committees play a critical role in ensuring our programs remain relevant, rigorous, and aligned with workforce expectations.
We are always looking for industry professionals and community members to join our advisory committees and help guide program growth. Your expertise helps ensure Tech High students are developing the skills and knowledge needed for success after graduation.
Each program meets with its advisory committee four times per year for approximately one hour per meeting. Meeting dates and times vary by program.
If you are interested in serving on a Program Advisory Committee, we welcome your involvement and partnership. Please email our Secretary, Cathlene Burcham at burchamc@pcsb.org or call 727-545-6405 to find out how to become a volunteer.
