National Technical Honor Society

NTHS Logo

The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) is the honor society for Career and Technical Education (CTE), recognizing students who excel in technical skills, leadership, and professionalism. Since 1984, NTHS has honored outstanding student achievement and now serves over 1.2 million members in secondary and postsecondary chapters across the country and beyond.

The mission of NTHS is to advocate for and empower students to develop the skills needed for successful careers and participation in the global workforce. Its vision is to be the international leader in recognizing excellence in career and technical education.

NTHS chapters focus on four core areas: career development, leadership development, service, and recognition. Members uphold high standards and participate in activities that support personal growth, career readiness, and community involvement. Membership in NTHS is a strong addition to college, job, and scholarship applications.
