National Honor Society
National Honor Society
The National Honor Society (NHS) is a prestigious organization recognizing outstanding high school students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character, serving as more than just an honor roll by encouraging active community and school involvement. Founded in 1921, NHS empowers student leaders through service projects, leadership development, and preparation for college and careers, with chapters in all 50 states and globally. Members can apply for NHS Scholarships, access members-only college planning tools, and attend leadership conferences. Tech High NHS membership is by invitation only beginning in 10th grade.
