DISCOVERY NIGHTS

Discovery Nights are special opportunities for families to come together and experience all that our school has to offer. During this open-campus event, families are invited to tour our facilities, explore our academic programs, and visit classrooms and buildings across campus. Guests will also have the chance to meet and talk with our teachers and students, who are happy to share their experiences and answer questions. Discovery Nights are designed to help families get a true feel for our school community and discover what makes learning here unique.

SHADOWING

Our Student Shadowing program offers prospective students an authentic look at a day in the life of one of our current students. Shadow students are paired with a student host and follow their schedule throughout the school day. They attend classes, participate in activities, and experience daily routines alongside their host. This immersive experience allows students to see our learning environment firsthand, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of what it’s like to be part of our school community.

Important Shadowing Information:
  • Parents provide transportation.
  • Visiting students must arrive in the front office between 7:00 and 7:15 a.m. to enable students to be matched and go to class on time.
  • Breakfast and lunch are served at no charge to our guest students.  The cafeteria does sell baked chips, cookies, and flavored water at an additional cost.  Students are not permitted to receive food from delivery services (i.e. Uber Eats). We do not have vending machines on campus.
  • Shadows are required to follow our school’s dress code.
    • Pants: No rips or tears above the knee.
    • Closed-toe shoes. Absolutely no flip-flop/slides.  (Requirement meets safety standards in program classes.)
    • Collared shirt – polo or dress shirt, midriff must be covered.
    • Students shadowing Building or Electric must wear long pants that are of jean/twill fabric - no synthetic material.

TOURS

We offer guided school tours for both applicants and their parents to experience our campus firsthand. Following the walking tour, applicants are grouped by their program of interest and spend approximately 45 minutes observing a classroom in session. This allows students to see real learning in action and gain insight into their chosen program.
While applicants are in classrooms, parents will meet in our cafeteria for an informational session covering curriculum details and the application process.

Important Tour Information:
  • Reservations are required, as space is limited
  • All tours begin promptly at 8:00 a.m.
  • Please arrive early and wear comfortable shoes
  • All visitors must sign in at the front desk
  • A valid driver’s license is required for sign‑in
These tours are designed to provide both students and families with a meaningful look at our school community and academic offerings.
