World Languages

At Tech High, our World Languages program is designed to help students develop strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and global competence. Through immersive instruction, students build proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing while exploring the cultures and communities connected to the Spanish language. All courses are full‑year and focus on meaningful, practical language use.

Students in Spanish courses progress through the ACTFL proficiency levels, beginning with foundational vocabulary and basic communication and advancing to more complex conversation, reading, and cultural understanding. Each level emphasizes real‑world communication, cross‑cultural comparisons, and connections to global communities.
